Who is The Broadway Experience for?

TBE is a triple threat program for passionate musical theatre students between the ages of 11 through to mid 20's. it is a performing arts intenisve that parallels the demands of Broadway and the professional world. TBE is not a sleepaway camp.

Do you provide assistance with housing?

TBE will not give any financial assistance, but there are great deals that we have secured with hotels and hostels in NYC. Please see the Accommodation page for affordable options.

Can I apply for week one only at the summer program?

We encourage but do not require students to take part in both weeks of our summer program. However, week two is only open to those who have completed week one. 

How do I apply?

The Broadway Experience is now using Acceptd for all NYC summer intensive applications. You will be able to submit your full application in a few easy steps. Please click on the link below to get started

Are you holding any live auditions?

Currently we are not holding any live auditons. As part of your application we ask that you submit a recorded audition of a dance combination or individual exercises showing line, jumps and turns. You may also submit a performance or routine if it meets the above requirements. A recorded voice audition is also required. Please click on Audition for more info.

Is there an application deadline?

Enrollment opens in late fall every year therefore our early application deadline is February 15,. A deposit is due on March 1, to secure places. We do accept applications up to May 15, but acceptance can not be guarenteed due to limited places. All program fees must be paid in full at the latest by June 1,. What are the total costs of The Broadway Experience programs?

$2200 for the two week NYC summer program, ALL LEVELS.

$1200 for week one only L1 & L2, & $1350 for the Pro Level week one only intensive.

Do you give a sibling discount?

Yes we do. We offer a 20% sibling discount to parents enrolling two children or more. The first child pays in full and we discount the second child by 20%.

Do I need to provide a deposit?

Upon acceptance, you will need to provide a deposit for all programs. Full info can be found by clicking on Fees & Deadlines.

Do I have to provide my own meals?

We will provide lunch every day. Please let us know if you have any special food requests. You are encouraged to bring a snack for the afternoon break.

Will there be a limit to class size?

Class sizes are limited due to the individual attention a student requires.

How many different types of dance shoes do I need to bring with me?

Jazz, character, tap, and dance sneakers will be required.

Aside from dance clothes and shoes, what else do I need to bring with me?

You should come equipped with writing materials. Tape recorders or recording devices will be needed for vocal work. A very good sense of humor is a must!

If I am under 15 years of age, but am an advanced student, which level will I be placed in?

Special program placement will apply to students that excel in talent above their age range. Each student will be fully assessed prior to acceptance and on the very first day of the program. Upon arrival, if a students needs to be moved from one level to the next, TBE reserves the right to do so.

Can I choose to take certain classes over others?

Students are required to take part in all scheduled classes.

Can I pay with a credit or debit card?

We accept all credit and debit cards through PayPal. Please click on Fees & Deadlines for full information. 

Can my parents or guardian watch any of the classes?

Parents, guardians, friends, and family will be invited to attend lectures, performances, and our open day at the end of week one.
